Welcome to Down Below, a thrilling dungeon exploration board game! Our design focus was to bring the excitement of a rogue-like experience to the table, with plenty of replay ability and scalability to accommodate any number of players. With the ability to share dungeons and have them remain the same for every player group, you and your friends can embark on an epic adventure through the depths of the mysterious Down Below. You have the freedom to set your own goals and play a one-off session or stay in the same dungeon for multiple games. So, gather your party, choose a dungeon, and dive into the adventure that is Down Below! Down Below is loosely based on a full roleplaying game system called Spectres and Shadows (SnS); most of the material in this book is drawn from that much bigger, much more complex, and much more involved gaming system. Many of the rules are different or greatly simplified, but they try to encapsulate and emulate the core concepts of its bigger brother.
