There are six races populating the world of SnS. As a games master, you can allow all of them or make some of them more prominent in your own world. When determining the race of a player you can let them pick any race they want, or you can let them roll if you prefer a more random way of doing things. There are slight advantages to having a non-human race but roleplaying something more exotic should be the main reason for choosing.
